Teamaxe

TEAMAXE has specialized in motorcycle and scooter equipment sales since 2006, with 10 stores across France and Andorra today. Their team of passionate professionals welcomes customers both in-store and on their e-commerce site.

A Successful Prestashop Transition

At the beginning of 2021, Teamaxe decided to change providers and entrusted the ongoing maintenance of its website to 202ecommerce. Their primary objective was to find a human-scale agency that offered genuine support, continuous monitoring, and future opportunities for the growth and constant improvement of their website.

This technical transition, which included a change of hosting provider and integration of numerous custom developments, was swiftly managed by 202ecommerce. The first major enhancements focused on implementing automated logistical flows for ERP stock management and the extensive supplier inventories of Teamaxe.

An Atomic Redesign

The relaunch of the Prestashop website quickly led to a full-scale site redesign.

Migrating from Prestashop 1.6.1.0 to 1.7.8.6 was a technical challenge, as numerous custom developments had to be adapted or rebuilt.

Transferring all content—products, customers, orders, and more—required an advanced level of expertise, seamlessly handled by the 202ecommerce teams.

The UX/UI overhaul offers users a much smoother and more intuitive experience, naturally leading to higher conversion rates. Additionally, leveraging the Atomic theme enables Teamaxe teams to autonomously manage their content, including a customizable homepage, banners, and promotional strips.

This redesign also provided an opportunity to enhance the search engine with the integration of the high-performance Doofinder search solution.

The new website launched in June 2022.
