Resotainer

Cas client : Resotainer

Resotainer accelerated its digitalization thanks to the right technological choices

To support its growth, Resotainer needed to evolve a customer journey that was still heavily dependent on visits to its branches.
The challenge was not only to digitize certain stages, but to rethink the technological foundation to gain speed, efficiency, and scalability.
By switching from an in-house website to a proven e-commerce platform, Resotainer has given itself the means to digitize its customer journey, continuously optimize its performance, and give its marketing teams back their autonomy.

Key indicators

    • +30% performance on redesigned pages (source: Digilityx)

    • Significantly accelerated time-to-market thanks to the change in technological platform

    • Customer journey prepared 100% online before the appointment at the branch

The challenges

Originally, the Resotainer website only allowed users to reserve a storage unit and make an appointment.
The entire administrative process then remained 100% physical:

  • identity verification at the agency
  • signing of the SEPA mandate
  • signing of the contract
  • payment of the first month’s rent
  • handing over of the keys

This operation generated:

  • a significant amount of time spent in the agency,
  • a heavy operational workload,
  • a low perceived value of digital technology,
  • and difficulty in rapidly evolving the customer journey.
The challenge was twofold:

👉 streamline the customer experience,
👉 establish a technical framework that enables rapid and sustainable growth.

Pillar No. 1 — A fundamental technological choice to gain autonomy and speed

Resotainer had a custom-developed website built on Symfony.
It was a robust foundation, but it meant that every functional change had to be developed specifically: catalog, categories, product pages, shopping cart, promotions, checkout process.

We chose to switch to PrestaShop with Atomic Suite in order to rely on a comprehensive and proven e-commerce architecture that natively integrates:

  • catalog and category management
  • product page design
  • shopping cart and promotions
  • standardized checkout process

This choice profoundly changed the dynamics of the project:

  • Specific developments focus solely on business value,
  • Marketing teams have a more accessible framework for managing and developing the site,
  • Development costs are better controlled,

Delivery speed has been significantly improved.

👉 The right technological choice has empowered marketing teams while securing the architecture for the long term.

Pillar #2 — Digitize the customer journey without disruption

On this PrestaShop platform, 202 e-commerce has designed a hybrid process, designed to fully prepare the file before it arrives at the agency.

The tunnel now allows:

  • online identity verification (KYC),
  • signing of the SEPA mandate,
  • payment of the first month’s rent,
  • choosing an appointment slot at the agency.

The contract remains physically signed, but all the administrative work has already been done.

Result :

  • the customer arrives with a complete file,
  • the appointment is faster and smoother, allowing us to focus on the customer experience,
  • the experience is perceived as modern and simple,
  • teams save significant operational time.

This is not a 100% autonomous process, but rather a gradual, controlled, and effective digitization.

Pillar #3 — Continuous optimization and measured performance

Once the MVP was stabilized, Resotainer, Digilityx, and 202 embarked on a process of continuous improvement, focused on performance and data.

This approach is based on:

  • batch UX redesigns,
  • systematic A/B testing,
  • enhanced tracking with each iteration.

Several strategic pages have been redesigned (agencies, products, areas, search pages, homepage), with a clear objective: to improve readability, conversion, and understanding of the offering.

👉 According to Digilityx, the redesigned pages saw a 30% increase in performance.

This approach allows you to:

  • secure SEO,
  • smooth out costs,
  • deploy quickly,
  • and accurately measure the ROI of each change.

A gradual transformation, still evolving

Some steps remain deliberately physical (final contract signing, key handover).
Areas for development are currently being explored:

  • full electronic signature,
  • autonomous key retrieval,
  • increased automation via CRM.

These developments will need to be accompanied by testing, regulatory approvals, and field support.

The role of e-commerce

202 e-commerce acted as technical architect and guarantor of overall consistency:

  • selection and implementation of the PrestaShop platform
  • specific business developments (KYC, SEPA, hybrid tunnel)
  • design of the customer journey
  • implementation of tracking and pre-production environments
  • technical coordination with Digilityx

support in a continuous Dev + UX approach

Conclusion

This case study illustrates a strong belief: digital performance starts with the right technological choices.

By relying on a proven e-commerce platform rather than custom development, Resotainer has gained speed, efficiency, and scalability.
Above all, this choice has empowered marketing teams to test, adjust, optimize, and evolve the customer journey without relying on cumbersome development cycles.

A gradual, measured, sustainable transformation.
👉 Not a big bang.
👉 A solid framework for performing today and evolving tomorrow.
