Le chocolat des Français

Le chocolat des Français started with a simple idea: break the codes of artisan chocolate by adding a healthy dose of creativity and humour!

The company was launched in 2014. Invited to the 20th Salon du Chocolat in Paris, these little works of art caught the eye of the biggest department stores, the trendiest concept stores and several delicatessens. Le Chocolat des Français has now entered the big league.

The products, made in several workshops in France, are sold in 500 points of sale. The artisanal bars are illustrated by over four hundred artists.

A successful Prestashop takeover

To continue its development on the Internet, Le Chocolat des Français decided at the beginning of 2021 to change its service provider for the ongoing maintenance of its website.

A technical overhaul, including a change of host and a Prestashop and PHP version upgrade, is being carried out rapidly by the 202 ecommerce agency in order to get the site back on track and prepare for future developments.

The takeover of the Prestashop site is accompanied by an overhaul of the personalisation offering: personalised tablets and gift boxes.

The personalised tablets that already existed before the takeover were given a new look and, above all, optimised for mobile ordering.

A new offering will be launched in September 2021: personalised gift boxes.

It’s a real UX/UI and front-end development challenge to offer a fun, intuitive and effective experience, enabling visitors to quickly put together personalised Neapolitan boxes.
